9月8日、AppleはAppleは新製品発表イベント ｢Far out.｣ を開催し、新型iPhoneである ｢iPhone 14｣ シリーズを発表した。
同モデルの発表にともない、Appleは旧モデルである ｢iPhone 12｣ および ｢iPhone 13／13 mini｣ を値下げした。また、同時にこれまで販売されていて ｢iPhone 11｣ と ｢iPhone 12 mini｣ ｢iPhone 13 Pro｣ ｢iPhone 13 Pro Max｣ の販売を終了している。
